Maybe the saxophone is more your style?
The saxophone family are part of the woodwind family and use a single reed. There are three possible options for saxophone in a typical band - alto, tenor and baritone. Alto is the smallest and the baritone is the biggest. All of the basics are the same between the instruments, but the embouchure (the way your mouth sits) is slightly different for each one. All the fingerings are the same on all three though, so switching is easy to do! The beginning band will mainly have alto and tenor saxophones and one baritone saxophone.
